A diner who tried it for lunch reported that the ponzu paired well with the tender pork, and that the pork soup was full of flavour. The daily lunch specials also change by weekday, with options such as pork shabu-shabu and tori pon; choosing from that day’s set meals is part of the appeal.

One diner who visited on pork shabu-shabu day described warm pork dressed with ponzu, served with rice and pickles. That day, diners could choose pork soup or chilled somen noodles. The somen, topped with wakame seaweed and chopped fried tofu, made a welcome meal on a hot day.

For a heartier lunch of fried food and rice, there is also a chicken nanban set meal. The menu describes chicken in a sweet-and-sour sauce with homemade tartare sauce; one customer who ordered it at lunch remarked that the rice was piled high.
